The Clarke's team have for many years been supporting the Institute of Cancer Research. The major fund raising event takes place each November  in the Lake District and we join a large group of like minded people within the office products industry to take part in the Climb of Life. Below is an extraxt from the Institutes website:-

In November 2009, Chairman of Office Friendly Dealer Association, Graeme Chapman MBE took colleagues, family and friends, plus two staff members from the ICR back up into the mountains of the Lake District to raise money for the ICR.

The teams of climbers (approx 120 people) set off from the historic Swan Hotel in Grasmere.

The total money raised was a magnificent £64,500, beating 2008 's  total of £63,150 and the previous year of £62,190.

A special thank you to Graeme for his superb organisation, as always! Thank you also to Ruth, Phil, Tim and Marilyn, all the walk leaders, and everyone that took part and fundraised so hard and to VOW and 3M for being the main sponsors.

Clarke's each year has run a silent auction supporting the above event and each year we have raised in excess of £2000. towards the grand total.

Clarke's also works with a local charity  The Nottingham Hospice " Adding Life to Days"
